Using Pal Tiya Premium in an arts curriculum
Pal Tiya Premium is a sculptable concrete based weatherproof medium that enables students of art to
create beautiful permanent sculptures that can go outside in any weather – without the need for
expensive or complicated equipment or specialized techniques. Basically, students can go big and go
outside with their art without the risk of ceramic breakages,
the expense of bronze or chemical off gassing of resins.
Students can now make beautiful additive sculptural pieces
in any shape or form with a simple armature and an
application of up to two thin layers of Pal Tiya Premium to a
thickness of between 3mm and 6mm thick depending on the
size of the piece.
The recommended armature material is aluminum foil and
hot glue (with the possible addition of cardboard for larger
structures. Particularly complex shapes can be achieved by
adding wire or rebar depending on the design and the size.

With no need for kilns, foundries, or hazmat suits respirators, Pal Tiya Premium only needs a dust mask
while mixing and gloves while sculpting to avoid artists’ hands drying out from the material.
